Everyone at A Night of Horror would like to congratulate Ian Hunter (and his visual effects company New Deal Studios) on his Oscar win of Best Visual Effects for INTERSTELLAR.
Ian screened his fantastic short film ALLURE at A Night of Horror in 2009, where it won the Director's Choice Award for Best Short Film.
Ian was an incredible guest at the festival, and graciously took the time out of his busy career to not only attend the fest but to speak to film students and deliver a stunning presentation of his visual effects work at the campus of one of the festival's partners: International Film School Sydney.
Ian's prolific effects work is second to none, and it is fantastic to see such an incredibly talented and giving artist receive this well deserved recognition.
