FanForce is pleased to announced the release of brand new award-winning mystery thriller, CRUSHED to cinemas on demand nationally from March 15th.
In a brilliant directorial debut, CRUSHED is direct from a successful international film festival run including it's Sydney premiere at Fantastic Planet Film Festival 2015, where director Megan Riakos won the fest's "Best Australian Director" award.
The film, also written by Riakos (50-50, THE SHED), is the story of Ellia, who returns to her family vineyard after her father dies in a winery accident.
When the death of her father is ruled a murder, and her mother becomes the prime suspect, Ellia is determined to uncover the truth. As she uncovers secrets about her family and the winery, she becomes the murderer’s next target. Will she discover the truth before it’s too late?
CRUSHED was filmed on location in the stunning Mudgee wine region in NSW, and features a stellar cast including Sarah Bishop (Skit Box and TVs DEADBEAT DADS) as Ellia, Les Hill (TVs UNDERBELLY, HOUSE HUSBANDS), Roxane Wilson (HOLDING THE MAN, TV’s WATER RATS, STINGERS), Millie Spencer-Brown (THE BLACK BALLOON) and Remy Brand (SAM FOX EXTREME ADVENTURES, CROSSED WIRES).
CRUSHED will screen at Randwick’s The Ritz Cinema on March 15th, before it screens nationally on demand via FanForce.com.
